SET COMBINATION
Follow the directions included with your padlock or refer to the Combination Set/Reset instructions in the Documents tab below.
(1) Turn dials to current opening combination (or Factory Default 0-0-0-0 if you have not yet set a new combination), then open the shackle (top of padlock) by sliding the black lever.
(2) Using a paperclip, turn the reset screw on the back of the padlock counterclockwise, so it is horizontal.
(3) Turn the dials to your preferred combination. Look carefully to be sure you have the dials set exactly right.
(4) Using the paperclip, turn the reset screw clockwise, so it is vertical. Close the shackle with the black lever, then scramble the dials to lock it.
NOTE: If your padlock does not open on the default code it has been changed and you do not know the current code, you are locked out. There is no way to retrieve your code. Please follow the directions carefully when setting your own code and make sure you do not lose or forget your combination.
