The Intelligent Key Cabinet (IKC) from Medeco is a robust, flexible, electronically controlled key management system that increases accountability and reduces the risk of misplaced keys. The IKC secures, distributes, and audits the use of XT Intelligent Keys, mechanical keys, a combination of both, or other assets.
Only authorized users can gain access to the cabinet via the Biometric Fingerprint reader, PIN code pad, or a combination of both. An optional access card reader is also available. The IKC electronically keeps records for key removals and returns - by whom and when. IKC, not only improves employee efficiency and lowers operating costs, but it also ensures keys never leave the site by letting you know who has keys and sending alerts for unreturned keys.
IKC Main Cabinets are available in either 32 or 64-key ports with the option to add on cabinets for storage of up to 512 keys.
