With a privacy function, the lock is engaged from the interior by a thumbturn. The door is opened by your choice of a variety of knob and lever options. Uncompromisingly rugged and beautifully crafted, these latches are suitable for the very finest homes. Privacy sideplate entry sets are perfect for bedrooms and other interior locks.

Finish: The 8211 Privacy Rectangular Non-Keyed Modern Sideplate comes in Satin Brass (US4), Oil Rubbed Bronze (US10B), Satin Nickel (US15), Flat Black (US19), Polished Chrome (US26), and Unlacquered Brass (US3NL) finish.

Backset: All Emtek Locksets come standard with 2-3/8" Backset and Square Corner Latch (Face: 2-1/4" x 1"). If you need 2-3/4" Backset or Round Corner Latches please specify in the Comments Box upon checkout.
Strike: All Emtek Locksets come standard with Square Corner Strikes (2-1/4" x 1-1/2"). If you need Round Corner Strikes please specify in the Comments Box upon checkout.
