The most full featured of Kaba's mechanical pushbutton lock solutions, the Simplex 5000 Series offers unparalleled strength, convenience, and flexibilty. This BHMA Grade 1, heavy-duty lock contains internal drive parts of cast stainless steel and clutch-free direct-driver design. The Enter Button is easy to press, and its design and finish options fit virtually any existing dècor. Designed for the simplest installation possible, the non-handed design fits both left-and right-hand doors and if needed, allows for handing changes in seconds. Models are available for cylindrical, exit trim, and mortise locking options and include a choice of key override options. Simplex 5000 locks are ADA compliant and include a three-year warranty.
The Simplex 5000 locks are ideal for locations with a high personnel turnover rate such as date processing centers, employee entrances, R&D labs, apartments, dormitories and restricted areas in hospitals, airports and other institutions.
Access Control: Mechanical pushbutton lock eliminates problems and costs associated with issuing, controlling, and collecting keys and cards. Provides exterior access by combination, while allowing free egress.
No Battery: Fully mechanical lock eliminates the material and labor expense of battery replacements.
Locking Device: Cylindrical latch with 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating on "A" labeled doors.
Number of Codes: Single access code - one easy-to-manage code for all users.
Programming: Lock is easily programmed via keypad without removing lock from the door.
Handing: Factory-handed for left-hand doors; easily field reversible.
Number Keypad: Vandal resistant, 5-button, plus "Enter" button.
Economical: A cost effective access control solution.
Passage Mode (5041) - allows access without using the lock entry mode. Feature activated from the inside with a thumbturn or key (included with all passage feature models).
Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2-1/4".
Strike: Standard strike plate, ASA strike plate.
Backset: 2-3/4" backset. Finish: Satin Chrome 26D (626).
Minimum Stile Requirement: 5".
Key Override (Optional): Key Override models (5021, 5031 & 5041) accept removable core cylinders.

- 5021XS - Extra Heavy-Duty Combination Door Lock with Key Override: Comes with a standard (Non-IC Core) Schlage "SC1" Cylinder installed, Keyed Different (Random).
- 5021 - Extra Heavy-Duty Combination Door Lock with Key Override. Choose Keyway: Schlage (5021S), Best (5021B), Corbin Russwin (5021C), Sargent (5021R), and Medeco-Yale (5021M).
- 5031 - Combination Entry and Key Override: Combination Entrance Combination Change from secure (interior) side of door. Meets Department of Defense (DOD) Requirements. Choose Keyway: Schlage (5031S), Best (5031B), Corbin Russwin (5031C), Sargent (5031R), and Medeco-Yale (5031M).
- 5041 - Combination Entry, Key Override, and Passage: Auto-locking with pass-thru feature. Combination Entrance Combination Chnage from secure (interior) side of door. Meets Department of Defense (DOD) Requirements. Choose Keyway: Schlage (5041S), Best (5041B), Corbin Russwin (5041C), Sargent (5041R), and Medeco-Yale (5041M).
