The Adams Rite 4070-30-628 Deadbolt is used where the long-throw MS deadlock can't be installed. It's smaller, but still offers the longest throw for a narrow stile with a conventionally projected bolt. A half (180°) turn of the key projects or retracts the bolt with any standard mortise type cylinder (1" length, 1-5/32" diameter), or cylinder type thumbturn. The deadbolt also accepts the cylinder from either side.
