This is an extremely heavy duty gate latch that accommodates both 1-7/8" and 2" gate frames. It fits any opening with up to 7" of adjustment. Hot dip galvanized steel is bolt cutter resistant. Simple 2-bolt installation--gate cannot be opened even if bolts are removed. A drop rod is not necessary.
